As the Design Director of Institutional Investor, I spearheaded the comprehensive redesign of this 50-year-old publication, impacting all facets of the brand's business. Working closely with the CEO and EIC, the initiative aimed to attract a younger readership and reposition the brand as a digitally savvy media company.

As the Design Director of Institutional Investor, I spearheaded the comprehensive redesign of this 50-year-old publication, impacting all facets of the brand's business. Working closely with the CEO and EIC, the initiative aimed to attract a younger readership and reposition the brand as a digitally savvy media company.
A key challenge was to modernize the magazine without alienating its older readership. The result is a ‘modernist’ aesthetic that appeals to both its established audience and a younger, tech-focused demographic. The redesign included a bold new typographic approach and a more visual display of information; a reorganization of the content to better align with the magazine's website; and the implementation of the new identity across all digital and print properties.
